I presume that this is the place you put something pithy (and or clever) that will let people get an idea about who you are (or how you wish to be seen). While I approve of this in concept, in practice I have found that any pidgon hole I try to crawl into, or label I try to wear has me feel as if I am dangerously misrepresenting my self. I'm a Mother, a Daughter, a Sister, an Aunt, a Grandma and a Wife, but these epithets do not seem to define me as much as describe some of my relationships with others. My job (receptionist) is what I do for money. My hobbies (gaming and SF conventions) fill my creative needs. But I am not sure if I have told you anything about me.

What I have been trying to learn lately is how to nuture life. (or at least my own)
Not just living, but living well, happily.
I have married the love of my life and I now can stop distracting my self from how lonely I was. I am discovering however that I now default to distraction rather than engaging life. A habit I hope to soon break.
Life seems shy. It seems to slides away from close scrutiny or presents a distraction while I try to ponder it.
But that could be me and the process, not the content. : )

I have come to realize that while I do not seem to find the "journal' part of LJ something I seem to use, I find I need to read my friends. Every day.
Ok, many times a day.
